Refurbishment project - Liverpool John Moore’s University - CLP Air Group

CLP Air Group have recently supplied 29 flat pack Air Handling Unit’s (AHU’s) to the Liverpool John Moore’s University refurbishment project at the city centre campus.

Working in conjunction with our client Kimpton Energy Solutions our teams worked together to replace 29 AHU’s. All 29 AHU’s were provided in flat pack format due to challenging access restrictions at the existing building that maintained day to day operations throughout the works. All AHU’s were manufactured at our UK site based in Wakefield, West Yorkshire and installed by our dedicated employed installation team.

All AHU’s were fitted with high efficiency direct driven fans and heat recovery coil systems to the latest energy efficiency requirements. Each system was custom built and designed to suit the site access restrictions.

CLP Air Group director Craig Penny commented: “It was a pleasure to work with a quality forward thinking contractor like Kimpton to complete this project. Our two teams worked in tandem with a positive joint effort and attitude to complete the project on schedule. Well done to all involved.”

Kimpton project manager Paul Cooper said: “Our life is made much easier when we are working with top quality AHU equipment. We have worked closely with both LJMU and CLP Air Group for many years and what it has taught us is that if you want to keep clients into the long term, then install good kit and install it well.”
